Ouch! Elliott Newell Shelved by Injury Thursday, May 3rd, 2035 The Springfield Stars will be without the services of Elliott Newell for 4 weeks after an incident in a game against the Montana Pandas. The 34-year-old first baseman was injured while being hit by a pitch and suffered a fractured thumb. Thus far this season Newell has hit .388 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
