Pitcher of the Month Named in PCL Saturday, June 1st , 2047 Archie Owens of Jacksonville had an outstanding May with a 5-1 mark and was chosen the Pitcher of the Month in the Pacific Coast League. He topped off the month with a 2.59 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 41.2 innings, fanned 42 and held opposing teams to a .227 average. Thus far this season Owens has posted a 7-3 record, started 11 games, struck out 65 batters in 73.1 innings and compiled a 3.80 ERA. |
