Harmon Goes Deep 3 Times Wednesday, June 19th , 2047 Today was a special one for Randy Harmon of the Dawsonville Highway 9ers as he slammed three home runs in the 10-4 win over the Amarillo Archdukes. "Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Dawsonville first baseman collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs in the contest at Moonshine Park. Randy Harmon hit a solo-shot off José Martínez in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off José Martínez in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Dave Barrett in the 4th, walked in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. In the 2047 season Harmon is hitting .228 with 10 home runs. |
