Week's Premier Player: Tuscaloosa's Cedeño Monday, June 11th, 2035 António Cedeño did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the International League Player of the Week Award. The first baseman hit .480 for the Trout Slayers, recording 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this season Cedeño is hitting .319 with 19 home runs, 68 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 210 at-bats and a .396 OBP. |
