Carranza's Season Could be Over Saturday, June 10th , 2051 The Doral Arepas and their fans were rocked today by the news that star starting pitcher Norberto Carranza would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Carranza was hurt in a recent game against the Santo Domingo Dragons while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. His doctors think that Carranza will miss about 6 months. Up to now Carranza has recorded a record of 0-0. In 0 starts he has fanned 5 batters in 9.2 innings with a 2.79 ERA. |
