Broncos Álvarez to Miss Year Sunday, July 6th, 2042 Rodrigo Álvarez of the Broncos just might have to call it quits for the season. The 34-year-old Mile High starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Redwood City Redwoods recently at Redwood Park. Álvarez suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Broncos medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months. In 2 starts this season Álvarez has notched a 1-4 record and a 6.05 ERA. |
