Fokke Rijerkerk Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Friday, July 18th, 2042 Fokke Rijerkerk will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Dawsonville catcher could miss the remainder of the year. Rijerkerk was injured while running the bases in the Highway 9ers-Broncos clash at Mile High Field recently. Doctors said he has a broken bone in the elbow and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This year Rijerkerk is hitting at a .333 pace with 13 home runs and 62 RBIs. He has played in 80 games and scored 47 times. |
