The Trenton first baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Reeves told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." George Reeves singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. For the year Reeves is batting .388 with 5 home runs, 55 RBIs and 77 runs scored. |
