17 Ks for Matsuura, Beats Galveston 9-4 Wednesday, July 15th , 2043 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jun Matsuura, the Amarillo Archdukes topped the Galveston Tides today by a score of 9-4 at The Lair in Charlotte. The 25-year-old Matsuura brought his top game to the mound, striking out 17 batters while allowing 5 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Tides manager Ze-dong Quian said. "He made some of our guys look bad.
