Lindsay Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games
Thursday, August 11th, 2039
Win or lose, Douglas Lindsay just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games.

The Mexico City Cerveceros left fielder went 1-for-3 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 4-3 by the Waco Blue Cats at Burns Field.

"It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him."
Douglas Lindsay walked in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off José Gabriel in the 8th.

So far on the season Lindsay is hitting .337 with 11 home runs, 40 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 63 hits and played in 55 games.
