Hammertime End Harrington's Streak
Wednesday, August 28th, 2041
It was the best of both worlds for the Houston Hammertime today at TooLegit, as they defeated the Mile High Broncos 5-1 and also snapped Wayne Harrington's 21-game hitting streak. The 24-year-old Mile High shortstop failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats.

"Nothing personal against Harrington, we just wanted to win the game," said Hammertime skipper Jim Dunbar. "We did a great job keeping him off-balance and guessing."

When asked by reporters about his streak coming to an end, Harrington frowned and said, "I won't lie and say that I'm not disappointed about it, but I'd feel much better if we had won."

In 130 games this year Harrington has posted a .302 average and put up these numbers: 12 home runs, 66 RBIs and 86 runs scored.
