Bishop Stretches Hit String to 20 Saturday, August 13th, 2039 Geoffrey Bishop of the Indiana Hounds extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 2 hits in today's 10-4 triumph over the South Carolina Shamans at County Stadium. "Geoffrey has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Hounds manager José Vargas joked after the game. Geoffrey Bishop singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 7th. So far this year Bishop is hitting .400 with 2 home runs. |
