Spence Whitewashes Broncos Thursday, July 23rd , 2043 21-year-old Waco Blue Cats pitcher Mark Spence had a strong outing against the Mile High Broncos at Mile High Field today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 4 in the 13-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 6 hits. "Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said. To date this season Spence sports a 4-0 mark with a 1.50 ERA in 5 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .213 batting average and has 30 strikeouts in 36 innings.
