Redbirds Starter Wins ITL Pitching Award Friday, September 1st , 2045 Manuel Sonego hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning International League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Memphis starter earned a 5-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 48.1 innings, struck out 39 and compiled a solid 1.68 ERA. Checking out his stats for the season, Sonego has registered 10 wins and 12 losses in 27 starts, 4.86 ERA and struck out 134 batters in 172.1 innings. |
