The Redwood City Redwoods reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Albuquerque Isotopes and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Longoria was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 8 months.
