Robert Newton Injured, Out for Season Sunday, August 28th, 2039 The season is apparently over for Robert Newton. The Spokane Trappers medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 11-12 months with a torn labrum. Newton was hurt in the game against Redwood City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. On the season Newton has 1 win and no losses and a 9.89 ERA. |
