Vancouver's Bowden to Miss Season Tuesday, August 30th, 2039 The season is ending on a bad note for Ed Bowden, reliever for the Vancouver Vipers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bowden was hurt against the Albuquerque Isotopes while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 11 months. This season in 26 relief appearances Bowden has thrown 39 innings and collected 1 save. His won-lost record is 3-3 with a 6.00 ERA. |
