Moya Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Saturday, August 15th , 2043 António Moya of the Waco Blue Cats extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 6-3 triumph over the Amarillo Archdukes at The Lair in Charlotte. "António has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Blue Cats manager Dale Reese joked after the game. António Moya hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Moya is batting .348 with 138 hits, 12 home runs, 70 RBIs, .415 OBP and has scored 70 runs. |
