Tuscaloosa Eliminated from Playoff Contention Saturday, August 23rd, 2042 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Tuscaloosa might have envisioned. The Tuscaloosa Trout Slayers were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Reserves League and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Trout Slayers manager Sergio García. Tuscaloosa last appeared in the postseason in 2038. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Trout Slayers have missed the playoffs 7 times. Tuscaloosa has won the Reserves Championship 10 times in their history. |
