Ramírez Hits in 25 Straight Games Sunday, August 24th, 2042 The hot bat of 83's right fielder Manuel Ramírez continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 25 games after he went 2-for-6 in today's 7-6 loss to the Hillbillies at Leadwood Grounds. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Manuel Ramírez singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and struck out in the 12th. To date this season Ramírez is hitting .368 with 10 home runs. |
