Stars Celebrate Wild Card Win Thursday, September 1st , 2044 Carlos Magana of the Trenton Stars said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in Reserves League. The grind is now over, as the Stars have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the starting pitcher. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager Doug Willard believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
