Martínez Claims ITL Batter of the Month Award Monday, October 1st, 2035 For a rookie just breaking in, Ramón Martínez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the ITL Batter of the Month award for September. The 24-year-old right fielder for the New England Whalers hit .400 with 11 home runs, 27 RBIs and 26 runs scored. Martínez is hitting .319 this year with 26 home runs and 95 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .419, 58 walks and scored 90 times. |
