Broncos Snap Christian's Streak at 21 Saturday, April 5th, 2042 The Broncos stopped Tony Christian's 21-game hitting streak today at Mohave County Field, but they couldn't stop the Santa Monica Beach Bums, falling by the score of 8-5. Christian didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-1. "It's just as well," Beach Bums manager J.R. Spurr said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." So far this season Christian is hitting .400 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 1 run scored.
