Pratt Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games

The Houston Hammertime fell to the Redwood City Redwoods in Redwood Park today, even as 24-year-old left fielder Mike Pratt upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Pratt finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Hammertime from dropping the 4-1 decision.

"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Pratt.
Mike Pratt grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 11th.

For the season Pratt is currently batting .386 with 6 home runs and 55 RBIs. In 61 games he has reached base at a .430 rate and scored 46 runs to date.
