Red-Hot Forrest Scorches Trout Slayers Friday, May 17th , 2047 5 times is the charm -- at least for Tom Forrest. The Olympia Marshalls left fielder tore up the Tuscaloosa Trout Slayers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Tuscaloosa Municipal Stadium today. The offensive onslaught from Forrest powered the Marshalls to a 11-5 win. "Forrest was a tough out today," Tuscaloosa manager Robert Reeves said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Tom Forrest singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Hitting .372 to date, Forrest has 9 home runs and 29 RBIs.
