Jackson's Padilla Injured, Out of Lineup Friday, May 15th, 2037 A blow for Juan Padilla today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. Padilla suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Jackson Jawn are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Padilla's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, in 9 relief appearances Padilla has compiled an ERA of 10.80. He has pitched 18.1 innings, struck out 12, walked 15 and registered 1 save. |
