Trappers Lose Sánchez for Season Saturday, May 16th, 2037 The season is finished for Archie Sánchez of the Spokane Trappers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Trappers reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Vancouver Vipers. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. For the season Sánchez has no saves, tossed 36.1 innings, fanned 35 batters and produced an ERA of 7.93. He has also been credited with 3 wins and 4 losses. |
