PCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Stout Monday, May 25th, 2037 25-year-old Xavier Stout made a few Spokane headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Pacific Coast League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .519 average. Stout collected 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Stout is hitting .258 this season with 6 home runs, 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 128 at-bats. |
