Tides Li Lost for Year Wednesday, July 29th, 2037 The doctors have spoken and Bai-luo Li of the Galveston Tides didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Li sustained his season-ending injury during the Houston Hammertime game yesterday at TooLegit. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Galveston medical staff reported Li had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months. This year Li has a 2-0 record and a 2.16 ERA. |
