Monday, September 17th, 2035
At the age of 30, Denver Baker might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Knoxville right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .419 batting average. For his efforts Baker collected the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 13 hits in 31 at-bats, 6 home runs and 21 RBIs last week in 7 games.
Baker is hitting .291 this year with 15 home runs and 62 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .358, 26 walks and scored 40 times.
