The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2034. In the last 10 seasons, the Johnnys have missed the playoffs 6 times. In total, the Johnnys have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 29-year history.
