MacCodrum 5-for-5 Against Destro Monday, May 5th, 2036 Clyde MacCodrum of the Redwood City Redwoods went on a hitting spree today against the Death Valley Destro pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Destro put a damper on his day and prevailed 4-0 over the Redwoods. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Clyde MacCodrum doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year MacCodrum has no home runs and a .362 batting average.
