5-for-6 Game for Corbera Saturday, April 11th, 2037 At Missions Ballpark today, José Corbera of the Mexico City Cerveceros put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled the Death Valley Destro pitching staff, but Mexico City still came up short on the scoreboard. The Cerveceros went home with the 8-7 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their second baseman. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Corbera said in the postgame interview.
