Wednesday, May 17th , 2045
Everett Chargers left fielder Bill Cole had a magnificent game against the Butler White Sox today, rocketing three balls out of Pullman Park to help the Chargers take the 16-4 victory.

"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."

For the game, Cole went 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Everett manager Mike Moore said later. "Seems like Bill found his home run stroke today."

Bill Cole singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Marcos Rodríguez in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Jason Miller in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dave Thornton in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

Cole is presently batting .469 with 6 home runs, 11 runs scored and 14 RBIs. His OBP is .514.
