Bang-up Game: Salazar Slams 3 Homers Saturday, May 20th , 2051 Whatever Fernando Salazar ate for breakfast before his game against the San Antonio Suns today, it gave him some impressive power. The Menlo center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Palancar Gardens. His home run barrage led the Maniacs to take the 9-8 victory over the Suns. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 7 and put on a display that history will remember. Fernando Salazar hit a solo-shot off Mike Kernodle in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jesús Aguirreamaya in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Jesús Aguirreamaya in the 8th. Salazar is currently batting .216 with 9 home runs and 19 RBIs. |
