Gainesville's Carrio to Miss Season
Monday, May 30th, 2039
Doctors in Gainesville said Zacarias Carrio might not play anymore this year. The Guidos reliever suffered a stretched elbow ligament during a game against the Moose Jaw Ghostbusters and will be out for at least 9 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

Carrio has taken the mound for 23 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 3-1 record with a 6.15 ERA. The Gainesville reliever has limited opposing batters to a .261 batting average.
