Wednesday, May 5th , 2055
When Joplin closer Bill Brown was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Miners-Aces game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Brown had sustained a torn labrum and will be out for about 9 months.
This season, Brown has worked 15.2 innings in 15 relief appearances and picked up 6 saves. He has dished out 21 strikeouts and walked 9 with a 2-3 mark and a 8.04 ERA.
