Miranda Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, July 25th, 2040 The hot bat of LightSabres center fielder Juan Miranda continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 4-0 loss to the Aces at The Lair. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Juan Miranda struck out in the 1st, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Miranda has hit at a .306 pace and produced 52 RBIs, 12 home runs and scored 55 runs. |
