Hopkins Wins Best Bat Trophy in July Friday, August 1st, 2042 Joplin Miners fans believe they've got a talented young star in Christian Hopkins. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .359 with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. The end result was the third baseman being named the Continental League Batter of the Month. For the year Hopkins has hit at a .315 clip with 101 RBIs, 24 home runs and 75 runs scored. |
