Ellis Rips San Antonio for 5 Hits Tuesday, May 16th , 2056 William Ellis told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Ellis of the Roswell Ufos did against the San Antonio Suns. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 13-9. "Not much I can say," offered Ellis in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" William Ellis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Noah Daniels in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Nicholas Ryding in the 9th.
