Sansone Bashes 5 Base Hits Wednesday, June 17th , 2054 It was a parade of hits for Chris Sansone of the Joplin Miners at Wrangler Field. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Sansone finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Miners to a win, 12-6. "Sansone was really good and we were really bad," groaned Aces manager Hiroshige Yamada. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Chris Sansone hit a solo-shot off Rob Smiley in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Joe Simmons in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
