Continental League Picks June's Best Batter Saturday, July 1st , 2051 Oklahoma City Owls fans believe they've got a talented young star in John McKinney. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .413 with 11 home runs, 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Continental League Batter of the Month. McKinney is batting at a .393 pace this season, picking up 48 hits in 122 at-bats with 14 home runs, 27 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
