Hodges Belts 3 HRs Sunday, July 2nd , 2051 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Ronald Hodges did today at The Dome, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 9-3. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Hodges said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Ft. Lauderdale Flamingos center fielder blistered the Frisco Rough Riders for 4 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Frisco manager Manuel Herrera said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Ronald Hodges hit a solo-shot off Marcus O'Bryan in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Marcus O'Bryan in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Martin Everhart in the 9th. This season Hodges is batting .310 with 27 home runs. |
