Moonshots: Poole Knocks 4 out of Sight

Carl Poole of the Butler White Sox had a history-making game today against the Gainesville Guidos, clobbering 4 home runs in an awesome display of power in the 17-2 White Sox victory.
The Butler right fielder went 4-for-5, had 8 RBIs and scored 5 times in the game.
"There have been a few times when I consciously tried to hit one out," said Poole later. "It doesn't often work, but it did today for the last one. I guess this day was just meant to be."
Carl Poole hit a three-run home run off Adelkria Onindo in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Steve Blake in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Gary Johns in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Sam Dillow in the 8th.
Poole is hitting .300 this year with 11 home runs, 35 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 120 at-bats, 5 walks and a .339 on-base percentage. Poole has played in 50 games.
