Parker 5-for-8 Against Reading Tuesday, July 18th , 2051 It was a parade of hits for Eugene Parker of the Everett Chargers at Paul Owens Stadium today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Parker finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 8 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Chargers to a 8-7 victory. "Parker was really good and we were really bad," groaned Rainbows manager John Rodmell. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Eugene Parker singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, singled in the 13th and doubled in the 16th.
