5-for-6 Game for Sines Wednesday, July 19th , 2051 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Dave Sines today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Rehab Center and paced the Cornhuskers to a 10-5 win over the Culver City Extras. After his dynamite batting performance, the Lincoln first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Dave Sines flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
