Everett SP Jesús Velásquez Injured Wednesday, July 26th , 2051 "I'm frustrated right now," said Everett starting pitcher Jesús Velásquez. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Chargers, that's where he will be spending 6 weeks. Velásquez suffered a herniated disc in today's game against Gainesville while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." On the season Velásquez has a 8-2 record with a 3.07 ERA. |
