Career Over for Encarnación, Major Injury
Wednesday, August 10th, 2039
The worst fears of White Sox fans were confirmed today at a postgame press conference. Butler reliever Ramón Encarnación has been lost for the season with a torn rotator cuff. The 26-year-old Encarnación sustained the injury throwing a pitch in today's game with the Ghosts at Salt Creek Oil Field. In all likelihood, the injury means the end of his professional baseball career.

For the season Encarnación has 14 saves, tossed 48 innings, fanned 58 batters and produced an ERA of 6.38. He has also been credited with 7 wins and 6 losses.
