Anderson Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, August 6th , 2051 Alexandria Aces first baseman Donnie Anderson was on fire with three home runs in the 22-7 win over the Ipswich Town Blues at Wrangler Stadium today. "The first two, I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone," Anderson said. "The last one I got lucky. It seemed like the wind helped it a little. Old Mother Nature helped me get into the record books." For the game, Anderson went 4-for-6 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Donnie Anderson hit a two-run home run off Ralph King in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a sac fly in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Lorenzo Icaza in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Tommy Duncan in the 9th. Thus far in 2051 Anderson is hitting .301 with 30 home runs, 76 RBIs, 56 runs scored and has compiled a .388 OBP. |
