Continental League's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 7th , 2051 Hoyt Palmer demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Continental League Player of the Week Award. The Ipswich Town left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .538 average (7-for-13) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
